Park Lyndon
an installment of what happens to my photos when i die?
November 2025
This great little county park is in the northwest part of Washtenaw County, and Pinckney State Rec area is just across the street. A portion of the Waterloo-Pinckney trail runs through this park as well.
Fun fact, I came here for the first time when I was having a manic episode searching for the hilliest trails in the county. I walked like 8 miles and almost passed out in my car.
I tinted these a little too purple, I fear. Maybe someday I'll fix it.
What is fall if not a time for mildly cringy leaf and moss photos? This is my a6500 and f1.8/35mm wide open.
Instagram's vertical format has ruined photography. I've been flying my drone in portrait mode and I hate it. I went back to horizontal here, since it's easier to crop a horizontal shot vertical than the other way around.
There was also a really nice sunset when I got home! The clouds were moving really fast so I tried to do a timelapse reel. I couldn't figure out how to edit the colors very well so it's kind of lackluster.
