Elberta Beach
an installment of what happens to my photos when i die?
May 2026
I've been to Frankfort Harbor on the Frankfort side but this was my first time going to the Elberta side. Highly recommend! There's a really nice scenic viewpoint up on the bluff and then the road continues down the hill to the beach. The pier itself is cool, too. A flock of seagulls parted like the red sea when I started walking.
It's also a great view of the Frankfort Lighthouse. I think I took more pictures here than I did at any other park.
I tried getting more interesting perspectives with both the camera and the drone, and I like how most of them turned out.
Almost ate shit multiple times trying to get this shot and it didn't even turn out that great
This one's pretty weird.
I'm like 99% sure this was a juvenile bald eagle up on the bluff.
The different water colors and the pier made some really cool aerial shots.
I have to admit whatever this is isn't as scenic as the Frankfort side
I like that you can see Elberta South End, Arcadia, and Green Point in the background.
