Round & Farwell Lake

I saw Round Lake and Farwell Lake as I was browsing Google Maps and planned a visit as soon as I could! I went for the first time last year and was excited to come back. You can access Farwell via a DNR boat ramp on Pine Hills Lake and Round Lake at the county park. I paddled the circumference of each of them. 

They both have really clear water with this interesting silty sand at the bottom that kinda sucks your feet into it. Round Lake County Park actually has a flowing artesian well that people come to fill up water bottles with.
