MSU Horticultural Gardens

I'm still getting used to my Sigma 24-70 so I snapped some photos at the botanical gardens at Michigan State. I feel like the pictures look good when I'm zoomed all the way in but anywhere less than that even at f/2.8 something is just missing. 

I'm going up north in a few weeks so I'll get a lot more practice, although I don't feel like my other lenses required any practice at all.
